Our client are seeking to recruit a Technical Support Representative for a permanent role based in South Dublin. This is a customer facing Technical Support role providing technical solutions to the customer in a professional manner. The ideal candidate will provide support for a global ERP supply chain and logistics solution.
Salary: 30-35k
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS and EXPERIENCE required
" Minimum 3 years Technical Support Experience
" A strong technical background including experience with .net & android technology
" Knowledge of databases & development tools
" Technical/professional expertise demonstrated through problem solving, applying technical knowledge, and product and service management
" Makes customers and their needs a primary focus of ones actions; developing and sustaining productive customer relationships.
" Maintains stable performance under pressure or opposition (such as time pressure or job ambiguity); experience handling stressful situations well
" Fluent English required
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
" Deliver service and support to end-users via remote connection or over the Internet
" Liaise with customers to provide and process information in response to enquiries, concerns, and requests about products and services;
" Gather customer's information and determine the issue by evaluating and analysing the symptoms;
" Diagnose and resolve technical hardware and software issues involving internet connectivity, email clients and more;
" Identify and escalate priority issues per Client specifications;
" Redirect problems to appropriate resource;
" Accurately process and record call transactions using a computer and designated tracking software;
" Offer alternative solutions where appropriate with the objective of retaining customers' and clients' business;
" Stay current with system information, changes and updates
