Our client are seeking to recruit an experienced Systems Administrator for a permanent role based Dublin City
Experience Required
Linux administration experience (5+ years)
3+ years working with a large installation
BS in Computer Science or equivalent
Experience providing support in a 24x7 environment; willing to be on-call for production escalations
Past work with system administration programming (such as with active monitoring), preferably with Ruby, Python, or Perl
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Ideal candidate will have:
Experience with production web server administration, ideally in a Ruby On Rails environment
Flexible and diverse skill sets, including MySQL, Linux tuning, security, networking gear, and various programming languages
A desire to learn
