This financial institution is one of the largest mutual fund and financial services groups in the world and the technology projects they are working on at the moment are cutting edge and require someone with an innovative approach who likes working in a collaborative environment.
The type of person they are looking for is a strong Microsoft .NET web developer to contribute in user interface development in one of their divisions within the corporate compliance. We are looking for a strong Microsoft .NET web developer to contribute in user interface development for the Ethics Compliance Group within Corporate Compliance. Excellent coding skills are critical to succeed in this role. The candidate must have sound communication skills, be able to comprehend business requirements, translate them into technical design specs and apply the same in the development process.
Reponsibilities:
" Web/Windows Forms application development in Microsoft .NET.
" Create Technical specs, Unit test cases, Transition and Operational Documents.
Skillset:
" BS or MS Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent.
" Minimum 5 years of web development experience, predominantly in Microsoft .NET and C#.
" Proven experience in Microsoft .NET web development.
" Knowledge of .NET Web Services, Windows Communication Foundation (WCF) and Windows Presentation Foundation (WPF) a strong advantage.
" Knowledge of Oracle PL/SQL is highly desirable.
" Experience with a structured application development methodology, using any industry standard Software Development Lifecycle.
" Ability to clearly interpret business requirements into efficient code and communicate results.
" Strong analytical skills and excellent problem solving ability.
" Ability to work in a developing environment spanning multiple continents.
" Strong communication skills, both written and oral.
" Flexibility to travel as required.
