Seeking a Financial Analyst to join the Finance Projects Team of a prestigous Asset Manager. You will be involved in the delivery of projects that support the on-going work of the Financial Reporting and Financial Planning & Analysis teams.
This is a Management Information role involving change projects in migrations, financial system implementations and business intelligence development.
The Role:
- Documenting the requirements of the Financial Reporting\Financial Planning & Analysis teams in respect of the Integrations/Migrations.
- Performing detailed analysis of these requirements and formulating interim and target operating model solutions with the Integration Team.
- Understanding fully the accounting implications of acquisitions and ensuring long term solutions are developed to support the ongoing annual, quarterly and monthly financial reporting.
- Develop teporting solutions that complement or enhance existing MI reporting.
- Ensuring existing controls and reconciliations are designed or enhanced.
The Person:
- Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent), with at least 5 years' experience.
- Financial Systems implementation experience.
- Ability to think strategically when developing solutions
- Knowledge of accounting principles and practices applicable in the Banking / financial services sector.
- Experience in project management in systems implementations / change management.
- Experience in the development of data warehouses and business reporting tools.
