Seeking a Regulatory Reporting Accountant for a global investment bank in South Dublin.
You will focus on the prudential reporting requirements for the Central Bank of Ireland (CBI). You will be involved in the production of returns for submission to the CBI, whilst ensuring that the existing key processes and controls are adhered to. Due to the dynamic nature of the Regulatory environment, there will also be significant emphasis on the implementation of Basel 3 and User Acceptance Testing (U.A.T) of proposed system changes. This position provides the right candidate with exposure to all elements of the Bank’s business in terms of its products, risks and regulations.
The Role:
* Preparation of the quarterly and semi-annual regulatory returns.
* Preparation of daily VaR back testing.
* Analysis of new requirements for CRD IV / Basel 3 and the impact to prudential reporting.
* Developing an understanding of the regulatory rules contained in the CRD.
* Preparation of sections of the monthly Control Framework environment.
* Responsible for performing key processes and controls in production of reports.
The Person:
* Qualified Accountant.
* Previous experience of producing Prudential returns.
* Adaptability, focus, determination and flexibility are all key skill requirements.
* Good experience of complex systems, spreadsheets and databases.
* Attention to detail and accuracy are essential.
* Ability to work to tight deadlines.
