Linux System Administrator

My Client is seeking an individual to work as part of a global IT team, supporting a complex Source Control Management data synchronization infrastructure.
This position will focus on architecture support and design of data management, user access control, configuration management, monitoring, and package management of systems in a geographically diverse environment. You will be working as part of a global team responsible for delivering high quality solutions in a fast paced environment.

Responsibilities
-Work with and support the global IT teams responsible for the source control management (SCM) services
-Support and develop data synchronization services and capabilities for the geographically dispersed SCM repositories
- Support and develop monitoring and data reporting capabilities in support of the SCM data synchronization services

Basic Qualifications
- Strong Unix/Linux systems programming skills
- Expert in troubleshooting and debugging complex problems in a UNIX/Linux environment
- Strong level of experience with UNIX and UNIX utilities
- Strong knowledge scripting skills with BASH, CSH, and SH
- Solid understanding of UNIX Networking and TCP/IP
- Strong Perl Programming experience
- Good communicator with strong verbal, written, and presentation skills
- Must have good inter-personal and teaming skills
- Ability to work within a geographically dispersed team and as a self-directed individual contributor
- Working experience with Source Control Management tools like Git, Perforce, Clearcase

Education Requirements
Bachelor's, Computer Engineering and/or Computer Science or equivalent experience
