Seeking a Senior Financial Accountant for a global internet giant in their EMEA HQ in Dublin 4. This opportunity is being offered as an 11 month contract initially, with full permanent benefits including pension, health, canteen, sports facilities etc.

This role will involve the preparation, calculation and input of statutory adjustments for the 2013 accounts, audit support for multiple entities and involvement in tax and VAT calculations.
You will perform reconciliations from US GAAP to local GAAP, prepare adjustments to convert US GAAP balances to local Local GAAP and adjust to local materiality levels.
You will also be involved in daily, weekly and monthly accounting functions related to Local and US GAAP rules such as: BS and P&L accounting and flux analysis, the month end close process and reporting, general accounting and tax fillings and all related statutory obligations.
Seeking:
- Big 4 Qualified Accountant ideally.
- Experience in the audit of local subsidiaries of US multi-nationals.
- Solid understanding of local and US GAAP is essential.
- Oracle experience a plus.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
