Seeking a Big 4 trained ACA for a Senior Financial Accountant role with a global internet giant in their EMEA HQ in Dublin 4. This opportunity is being offered as an 11 month contract initially, with full permanent benefits including pension, health, free canteen, sports/pool facilities etc.

This role will involve:
- The preparation and analysis of financial statements and the management of compliance reporting.
- Ensure that reconciliations, the close process, and monthly close reports are completed fully, on time and of the highest standard.
- Provide support for internal and external audits.
- Manage the delivery of the accounting processes performed by an external Business Process Outsource vendor ensuring that all service levels are met, the internal control environment is robust and a quality service is provided.
- Develop in-depth knowledge of tools and applications in support of the accounting function and highlight opportunities for improvement and lead projects that will yield efficiency through automation, standardization and outsourcing.
- Represent Accounting and Controls with key business partners through effective communication with Payroll, AP, AR Financial Planning and the US GAAP team. The preparation, calculation and input of statutory adjustments for the 2013 accounts, audit support for multiple entities and involvement in tax and VAT calculations.
Seeking:
- Big 4 Qualified Accountant ideally.
- Experience in the audit of local subsidiaries of US multi-nationals.
- Solid understanding of local and US GAAP is essential.
- Oracle experience a plus.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
