Requirements
Experience administering Linux/Unix systems, you must be comfortable working in a shell
Solid understanding of TCP/IP fundamentals, DNS, DHCP, HTTP, etc.
Some familiarity with good practice in backup processes
Available to take part in 24/7 on-call rotation to deal with out -of-hours issues
Scripting ability in either shell, Python or Ruby
Desirable, but not essential
Experience with any monitoring system, e.g., Zabbix, Nagios, Munin, etc.
Automation experience of any kind, Puppet/Chef/Vagrant/Salt/Fabric
Familiarity with cloud environments, e.g. AWS, Rackspace, DigitalOcean, or any VPS system
Some experience with source code control, e.g. Subversion, git, etc.
