Seeking a recently qualified Accountant with Financial Services Audit experience for a newly created role with a prestigous Asset Manager in Dublin City Centre.
The Role:
* Assist in the preparation of annual audited financial statements and monthly management accounts.
* Preparation for Audit Committee meetings including presentation of year end financials to the Audit Committee for approval.
* Preparation of the annual budget.
* Preparation of daily and monthly management information.
* Administration and monitoring of expenses, including management and reporting of expenses against budget for presentation to the Board.
* Regulatory reporting for the Fund to external parties including the CSO and Central Bank.
* Assist in the co-ordination and management of internal and external audits.
* Assist in the management and co-ordination of the audit process with the global custodian.
* Performance of daily monitoring controls on the key activities including custody and cash management.
* Assist with operational management of fund transitions.
* Review and ongoing monitoring of service organisational control reports.
* Alternative assets - daily and monthly administration of the property and private equity portfolio including the payment of capital calls and monthly financial reporting.
* Cash management - administration of a daily cash sweep with the custodian, including daily confirmation and settlement
* Fund manager valuation reconciliation and reviews - monthly reviews of the custodian’s fund valuations and reconciliation to the fund manager’s records.
The Person:
The position would suit a newly/recently qualified accountant with financial services experience, ideally including fund administration, custody, audit and/or accounts preparation.
