Harvey Nash is engaged in a project with KBC Bank who is one of the leading banks in Ireland. KBC are currently looking for Core Banking Security Specialist to join their growing team in their Dublin City Centre office.
Role
* To ensure that the appropriate level of IT Security & Operational Risk is implemented.
* This will be a 12 month contract.
Duties and Responsibilities
* Recommend appropriate IT security measures, balancing security risks with business operational and strategic needs
*
* Provide input to design of software systems and review implementation of systems for compliance with Security Requirements and Policies.
*
* Validate that security is appropriately addressed as part of software developments using code review tools and penetration testing techniques.
*
* Design, implement and monitor IT security controls to ensure that appropriate security measures are maintained.
*
* Facilitate internal and external audits relating to IT Security and Operational Risk.
*
* Coordination and liaison with Project Team and External Suppliers.
Requirements
* Have an appropriate degree or equivalent qualification in a related discipline at a 2.1 or higher level.
* Have appropriate financial services experience.
* Have a minimum of 10 years’ experience in IT.
* In depth knowledge of Cyber Crime and IT Security related issues
* Good understanding of Banking environments.
* Experience of Banking Software Temenos T.24
* Knowledge of Secure Coding Techniques and OWASP Top 10.
* Knowledge of Agile Project Management.
* Background in LINUX System administration,
* Good practical and theoretical knowledge of Application Servers, Databases, Web Services, Server Infrastructure, Firewalls, Intrusion detection Systems.
* Qualifications such as CISSP, CISM, CSSLP desirable.
