Project Manager

My Client is currently seeking a Senior Project Manager in a client facing role for a contract position based in their Cork office. This role, to start in March, will be an initial 9 month contract; however, there is strong likelihood of a long term opportunity.

Role Responsibility:

Manage projects through the full engineering life cycle
Gather estimates, form plans and budgets. Continuously track effort, risks and dependencies.
Accurately and effectively manage stakeholders.
Directly manage, provide leadership and guidance to direct reports.
Manage project resource planning and contribute to organisational resource capacity planning
Ensure customer projects meet budget goals and timeframes.
Facilitate customer calls.
Manage third party suppliers.
Set priorities and work to tight timelines and budgets
Monitor, update and communicate project timelines and milestones, understand/pre-empt potential risks
Basic team HR tracking for leave coordination and sick leave tracking
Required Skills:

PMP/IPMI or equivalent certification
Excellent organisational skills
Proven project management experience managing complex projects
Excellent communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills
5 Years+ previous experience at Senior Project Manager Level in the software industry
Experience in resource management
Experience in product delivery and global customer support
Experience with managing projects in an Agile environment
Proven experience of managing technical projects
High level of commercial awareness
High attention to detail in all aspects of project planning, management and oversight.
Ability to work on own initiative in a dynamic and fast-paced business environment.
