Seeking a Senior Financial Accountant for an high profile tech multinational in Dublin 4. This is an outstanding opportunity to join a best in class Finance team. The role is being offered on an initial 6 month contract which will include full benefits of 25 days annual leave, pension, health, free sports facilities and canteen.
The Role:
- The preparation of Financial Statements for the 2013 accounts.
- Audit preparation and support for multiple entities.
- Perform reconciliations from US GAAP to local GAAP.
- Prepare adjustments to convert US GAAP balances to local Local GAAP.
- Perform daily, weekly and monthly accounting functions related to Local and US GAAP rules such as: BS and P&L accounting and flux analysis, month end close process and reporting, general accounting and tax fillings and all related statutory obligation.
- Perform accounts payable and GL reconciliations to ensure accuracy of financial statements and accurately record and maintain all payroll activities in the finance systems including GL payrolling entries and reconciliations.
- Manage relationships with third-party entities such as banks, accounting firms and third party suppliers in matters related to the Accounting, Treasury and AP activities and help to execute projects to localise financial systems.
The Person:
- Big 4 Qualified ACA.
- Solid understanding of Local and US GAAP is essential.
- Oracle 11i experience a plus.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
