We are looking for a Senior C++/Java developer who is interested with very well-known organisation in the telecommunications industry. The role will be within the Product Development team, which would be one of their largest teams within the engineering group. This exciting role will be using the latest cutting-edge technologies and this is all done within an agile environment. These products and solutions are developed using high performance languages, by engineers who are encouraged and supported in being the best in their respective fields.
The role of a Senior Software Engineer within this team requires solving a wide range of difficult problems in imaginative and practical ways. Peer/manager reviews exist at this level. The Senior Software Engineer must be able to take ownership of specific complex tasks, and take them to completion.
Requirements:
* Degree/Masters or equivalent experience.
* 3+ years C++ & Java Development experience
Mandatory Technical Skills:
* C++
* Java
* Unix
* STL
* Knowledge of IP-based network protocols
* J2EE
* Telecom Applications - Mediation/OCS/ PCRF
Desirable Technical Skills:
* Oracle, SolidDB/VoltDB/NoSQL databases
* HTML/CSS/JavaScript
* Open source web framework experience: Spring MVC, GWT, Seam/JSF/Richfaces, Hibernate, Angular
