Senior QA Engineer

Role: Senior QA Engineer (Exclusive to Harvey Nash)
Location: Dublin City Centre

Harvey Nash are recruiting exclusively for a leading global technology business who specialize in the product development and security space.
They also build API Servers for a series of multinational clients across over 100 countries so this is a highly developed global multinational business.
They are currently on the lookout for a Senior QA Engineer to come in and join their team on a permanent basis.

The company has the feel of a local software house but is backed by a global giant so it is very much the best of both worlds.
They have very low employee turnover and the feedback we have from the people we speak to who are working there is that they are extremely happy.

Responsibilities
* More than 5 years experience of software quality assurance or software development
* Experience with testing in a heterogeneous Unix/Windows software environment.
* Experience with APIs, REST, JSON, SOAP based SOA, XML testing
* Experience with API testing tools like SoapUI
* Experience with Web based/Desktop Application testing
* Experience with Agile Management systems like V1/Rally/JIRA
* Experience with test cases management systems like QC
* Experience with security and/or performance testing
* Experience using source version control systems: Git/SVN
* Good understanding of network protocols (TCP/IP, HTTP/HTTPs, FTP/FTPs, etc).
* Some knowledge of automation testing
