A leadinging financial services business has engaged Harvey Nash to secure the services of an experienced senior manager to take responsibility for a core business area critical to their growth. This position will have overall delivery management responsibilities for the online / digital / mobile channel and will provide support and contribute to architecture decisions for developed solutions in this core business area. As overall delivery manager you will be required to lead the delivery of a team of developers / analysts / architects, managed budgets and forecasting, engage with business groups and key stakeholders in addition to agile project implementation and management as well as full people management responsibilities.

Essential Experience:
* Experience of delivery of Online / Mobile / Digital solutions in financial services
* Formal third level qualification
* Previous experience of using Agile project management and agile development methodology in a financial services environment is essential
* Strong people management experience
* Ability to influence and manage expectations
Technical experience;
* Experience with solutions based on Android and/iOS mobile Frameworks, Spring Web Framework and JSF
* Experience in cross-platform/browser applications
* Experience of system integration using Web services (SOAP and REST) and JMS
* Strong OO skills, competencies in algorithms, data structures and data conversion
* Excellent problem analysis and creative solution-building skills
