Responsibilities and expectations
* Represent QA and testing in all aspects of the Agile Scrum development process including Sprint Planning and daily Scrum meetings
* Creation and execution of test plans and test cases (both automated and manual) for user stories
* Execution of risk based and exploratory testing
* Log defects and work closely with developers to investigate, troubleshoot and verify defect fixes
* Take initiative to recommend and implement quality process improvements
* Involved in organizing and executing all stages of testing leading up to a successful release the product
Required skills:
* Computer Science or Computer Engineering Degree (or equivalent experience)
* 2+ years working experience in Software Quality Assurance with contributions to automated testing efforts
* A good understanding of Agile development process(Scrum methodology)
* Able to demonstrate superior troubleshooting skills
* Must be energetic and enthusiastic, with a passion for Software Quality
* Highly technical and able to communicate well with developers and other team members
* 1+ years involvement with complex web based projects and mobile technologies
* Experienced with risk based and exploratory testing
Required technical skills
* Good working knowledge of SQL and familiarity with MS SQL Server Database
* Experience developing and/or testing custom applications built on IIS
* Experience working with web technologies such as .Net and Javascript
* Experience writing test automation using Selenium 2 Webdriver
* Experience developing in C# using Visual Studio and .Net4.0 or higher
* Experience with cross browser and cross platform testing (IE, FF, Chrome, Safari, Windows, Mac)
Desired skills
* Working experience with Couchbase and Membase NoSQL Databases
* Working experience with .Net MVC 4 framework
* Working experience with using virtualization software such as VirtualBox
* Working experience using Linux-based servers
* Familiarity with ruby
