We are looking for an embedded Senior C++ Software Engineer who is interested in working permanently with one of Europe’s leading organisations who specialise in the development of products for PC architectures. This is a very exciting opportunity to work on a brand new project with one of their clients. The Role is for Senior Embedded Engineers working in EFI and Linux working in BIOS/EFI and Server Management. The roles incorporates the full software development life cycle from requirements planning and analysis to design and development, test and support, using best in class development processes. Roles are for an experienced Embedded Software developer who has several years’ experience developing & debugging in large systems with a good understanding of hardware.
Requirements:
* Primary Degree in Electronics, Software Engineering or related fields.
* 5 to 10 years + experience in Software Development.
* Large system debug experience essential
* Experience in BIOS / EFI / PC architectures an advantage
* Linux Kernel / device driver or User Space experiences an advantage.
* Embedded position - Hardware Architecture understanding required
* Good organization, communication skills
* Ability to work in a team or on own initiative.
* Good written and oral skills in English are required
