Exciting opportunity for a QA Engineer to be part of an exciting new start up company in Cork.
Responsibilities:
• Execute test cases, analyse and present results, log bugs and regress all resolved bugs• Drive the QA of the customer-facing touch points (UI)• Designing and implementing test infrastructure• Designing, writing, and running test automation as well as improving test infrastructure• Designing and managing automated deployments as well as being responsible for deploying production instances• Work with product owner and development team to deliver the very best product
Requirements:
• Outstanding analytical problem skills and a passion to solve hard problems• Customer focussed/user empathy and collaboration skills• A passion for quality, customer satisfaction and new technologies• Ideally 2+ years experience in a commercial testing role with proven experience in at least two ship cycles
Experience/Qualifications:• Knowledge and strong experience of automated testing, and web services functionality• Strong experience of automation test tools such as Selenium, NUnit and scripting languages• Experience of C#, Web Services, Javascript, SQL and Azure• Good experience in web service load and performance testing• Experience with identifying and defining the test strategy for large-scale projects and feature sets• Experience with Deployment and Continuous Integration (Teamcity, TFS, Cruisecontrol.NET)• Experience with testing resilient, scalable and secure web services a bonus• Exceptional written, verbal and listening skills• Worked in Scrum Agile development environment![]()
