This individual will work closely with fellow Corporate Technology Group team members’ locally in Galway and in China to define, develop, and implement website solutions. They will also work closely with customers in the United States to refine and sign off on designs. This individual will focus on user experience and design projects for both web based Enterprise systems and emerging mobile applications
Primary Responsibilities• Engaging with internal customers to determine business requirements• Creation of wireframes, user flows, prototypes and visual design mockups for our internal websites and mobile applications• User testing designs and implementing user feedback• Working with the development team to ensure proposed designs are feasible and collaboration with the development team so hand-off between the design and development phases of a project is seamless.• Providing guidance to internal customers based on brand guidelines and UX strategy• Suggesting new and improved UX processes• Responsible for day-to-day User Interface (UI) and visual front-end design on enterprise web sites and mobile applications
Education and Experience
• Degree in Technology discipline/Graphic Design• 3+ years of web design experience within the IT field, financial services• Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite, focusing on Photoshop, Illustrator and Muse is required• Knowledge of html, css and web environments required• Expertise in creating visually appealing mock-ups, branding internal web sites in compliance with design standards• Ability to work with many different internal clients to gather requirements and consult on the best front-end UI and UX solution• Previous working experience in a globally distributed team – in particular with China would be helpful• Experience designing specifically for mobile platforms would be a plus![]()
