My client is looking for an iOS Developer to join our team to drive the design and development of native and hybrid Mobile Applications in an exciting new project. Based in Limerick, Ireland, this is an excellent opportunity to work in an innovative and dynamic environment.
THE ROLE
Design, develop, modify and implement mobile applications for the iOS platform
Design creative, usable and compelling user interfaces
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deliver new features as required
Test both the application code and usability features
Work on bug fixing and improving application performance
Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize
development efficiency
Design and implement complex modules with minimal supervision
THE SKILLS NEEDED
You will have worked extensively with Objective C for native iOS applications and with the
latest standard web technologies HTML5/CSS3/JavaScript for hybrid applications. You will
have a working knowledge of User Experience concepts and development of Graphical
Interfaces for Mobile Applications and you should be highly proficient using the public and
private iOS APIs.
Relevant degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject
3+ years relevant software development experience with a strong command of
object-oriented design
2+ years commercial experience in iOS development using Objective-C and Cocoa
Touch
Solid experience working with iOS frameworks such as Core Data, Core Foundation,
Core Telephony, Mobile Core Services and System Configuration
Prior experience of developing Apps which have been released to the APP store (bring
your portfolio)
Working knowledge of web standard technologies HTML/CSS/JavaScript
Ability to design creative, usable and compelling user interfaces
Exposure to Agile development methods
Working knowledge of the general mobile landscape including architectures, trends
and emerging technologies
Excellent problem solving skills and ability to work as part of a team![]()
