Different day, same stuff…….Are you sick of your current role and want a new exciting challenge? If so, I have an opening for a .Net Developer to join a new & innovative software development house in Dublin City Centre.

The ideal developer would be a dynamic and talented C# developer with experience working as a .Net developer or senior developer to join their team. The .Net developer should have knowledge of several of the following: API design, RESTful services, JSON, Entity Framework (or similar ORM), WCF, MVC, Razor, JavaScript, HTML, Unit Testing. You must have a passion for development and quality, and a willingness to learn new technologies is a must. This Software development house wants someone who can really make a positive difference to their team, product and company.

About the company: They are a young, exciting company with a great product looking to establish themselves on the world market in the coming year.

Requirements

Must have:
* Fluent in C#
* OO design

Back-end/mid-end development
* WCF/REST and JSON. Most of this is handled in an automated way by the .Net framework, but an understanding of the workings and principles and experience with roll-out is going to be important to this role

Advantageous:
* An understanding of ORM technologies (esp. Entity Framework) and their performance

characteristics
* SQL/MSSQL server and other SQL dbs

Other:
* NoSQL DBs

Deployment:
Advantageous:
* A good working knowledge of IIS
* Experience with msbuild and build-scripting

Front-end
* .NET MVC and Razor mark-up - not a requirement but a distinct advantage.

Advantageous:
* HTML, Javascript, jQuery, CSS, less
