Seeking a Commercial Financial Accountant for a global company in North Dublin. This is a really broad role with board level exposure and business focus. This is a maternity leave contract for 9 months.
The Role:
* Budgets and financial analysis of monthly financial statements
* Preparation of monthly cash flow statements
* Ensure all financial controls and procedures
* Creation and maintenance of cost centres and expense codes
* Reconciliation and maintenance of control accounts
* Agree intercompany balances
* Bank and Balance sheet reconciliations
* VAT, intrastat and payroll returns and support payroll process
* Accruals and prepayments
* Fixed Asset and Petty Cash control
* Processing invoices and expenses
* Assist with cheque payments and maintain cash book
* Assist the Internal Audit process with any queries/issues that arise
* Ensure all information requirements form External Auditors are met
The Person:
* Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
* PQE - 1 - 3 years within industry
* Previous ownership of monthly entity accounting
* Financial statement preparation experience
* Experience across to the entire Finance function and liaising with Senior Management
* Must be an excellent communicator and be able to deal effectively with non-financial people
