Senior Systems Architect

My client is recruiting a talented systems architect who will join the IT Architecture team in providing technical solutions to meet the business' requirements. The successful candidate will have worked on enterprise design and implementation roles previously. This position will afford you responsibility for enterprise product/solution design. This is a highly innovative position, where your work will touch millions of end users lives.
Main duties & responsibilities:
" Analyse business requirements
" Proposing technical solutions
" High-level design and working with agile delivery teams through the complete SDLC
" Guide the delivery team's needs relating to the product or feature
" Assess and guide on new technology and framework decisions
" Design of solution architectures and incorporate architecture strategy across the longer term
" Work with UI team to help design high quality, usable and innovative interfaces
Required skills and experience:
" As an architect, you will have come from a Java background
" You will be experienced with enterprise Web App development with Java technologies and related frameworks
" Experience mentoring engineers and performing code reviews
" Data modelling experience
" Excellent analytical and problem solving skills coupled with a keen attention to detail
" Solid knowledge of object oriented AD, and UML
" Experience of Agile/Scrum
" Desirable would be; mobile application design/development
" Excellent communication skills
