This position reports to the IT Operations Manager. The Senior Systems Engineer will be responsible for administering, managing and maintaining infrastructure. 5 years + experience working in an Windows server environment required.
Key Responsibilities
• Serve as a key resource in the design, implementation and support of IT Infrastructure• Manage infrastructure for over 1000 users• Proactively identify and propose infrastructure improvements• LAN and WAN troubleshooting• Developing and maintaining procedures to enhance the security of the Infrastructure and applications• Vendor management - Maintenance contract negotiations & service agreement reviews• Work with network engineers, software developers and project managers on the launch of new service offerings• Provide escalated troubleshooting support for the Level 1 and 2 Operation Support teams
Technical Skills
• Expert in variety of Microsoft Technologies including Server 2003, 2008 r2, 2012 r2 and System Center Operations Manager • Support and management of VMware and Citrix environments• Active Directory configuration and management• Provide level 3 Support for other IT Operations team members on various issues.• MDM Management• Firewall Support• IIS• SAN Storage Administration• Microsoft SharePoint Administration• Microsoft SQL Server • Commvault Backup/Recovery Software• Veeam Backup/Recovery Software• Microsoft Exchange 2010![]()
