My client is looking for an experience support engineer who is educated to degree level with Microsoft Certifications.
You will have experienced with MS Server Range, MS Exchange Range, firewalls, VPN’s, SQL, SharePoint, VMware, Hyper-V
You will have an excellent track record in designing, implementing, supporting and troubleshooting network systems, servers, SANs, email systems, firewalls, security, disaster recovery and cloud solutions.
Daily tasks
* Provide Telephone, Remote Access & On-Site technical support
* Design, build and upgrade of PC’s/Servers, networks and infrastructures
* Trouble-shoot issues relating to Servers, PCs and Laptops, EPOS equipment to include hardware faults, connectivity, security, permissions, firewalls, routers etc.
* Installation & Configuration of Servers, PCs, Laptops, Routers, Printers and EPOS hardware.
* Respond to requests for technical assistance by phone or email, logging of all the issues in the Help Desk management system and monitoring resolution of same.
* Provide routine training in normal usage of systems, products and services, providing information on the full range of capabilities to non-technical users.
Must haves
* Network Qualifications Cisco - CCNA/CCDA and or Microsoft Certified Professional
* Network Knowledge
Nice to haves
* Hyper-V administration and VMWare ESX/vSphere
* Backup Software e.g. Symantec etc.
* Monitoring Software e.g. Logmein, GFI, OpenDNS, etc.
* Cloud Technologies
