My clients are seeking an experienced Quality Assurance (QA) Manager to lead the Quality Assurance and Testing functions across its product lines. The appointee will also contribute to the global leadership of QA
Primary Responsibilities
QA Strategy & Planning
Drive QA Strategy for HRCA QA
Manage test strategy design, test plans, scheduling, and project management of QA services within the HRCA Product Lines
Program & Product Delivery
Support product and program delivery from a QA perspective
Escalate issues/concerns with solutions to execs when required in a timely manner
Represent QA at GATEs, Steering meetings, etc..
Talent Management
Leadership of Talent development across the HRCA QA team including succession planning
Manage and provide mentorship to QA resources across the HRCA Product Line
QA Evolution
Drive quality initiatives within the HRCA QA Team
Drive for increased use of Automation and Performance Testing across HRCA Product lines
Implement targeted reporting and metrics that demonstrates QA value and drives improvement initiatives
Qualifications
Education and Experience
Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent
10 years of Software Quality Assurance experience with at least 5 years in a QA management role
3-5 years experience in a people management role (including performance management, mentoring, coaching, etc.)
Skills and Knowledge
Extensive experience of QA tools, processes and practices throughout the product development lifecycle much of this experience in a data intensive environment
Proven thought leader and influencer for the definition and adoption of QA best practices in support of successful solution delivery
Exerienced leader of globally distributed teams
Very strong communication leadership and relationship building skills
Exposure to test automation and performance testing
Expericence of agile development processes and principles
