QA Automation Engineer

Urgent requirement for an experienced Software Engineer with excellent test automation skills and API experience needed for a leading IT Solutions provider based in the city centre.

Responsibilities:
* Work on test automation framework (Java)
* Develop/maintain automation test cases
* Carry out automation testing
* Deploy/maintain automation test environments
* mentoring QA Engineers in developing automation tests

Required Skills:
* 5+years experience of software quality assurance or software development
* Experience working in Unix/Windows software environment.
* Experience working with Selenium/Web Driver
* Experience working with Java.
* Experience working with Eclipse/IntelliJ, Maven, Hudson/Jenkins
* Experience working in Agile development environment
* Experience working with Automation Frameworks like FitNess, Robot, Concordion, Cucumber
* Experience using source version control systems: Git/SVN
* Experience working with APIs, REST, JSON, SOAP based SOA, XML
* Experience working with databases like DB2, Oracle, MS SQL, My SQL
* Knowledge of Test Automation Design
* Knowledge of Commercial Automation tools like RFT,QTP.
* Good understanding of network protocols (TCP/IP, HTTP/HTTPS, FTP/FTPs, etc).
