My client a leading employer in Cork currently requires a permanent Pre-Sales Engineer.
Responsibilities:
• Managing and prioritizing sales opportunities of new and existing clients.• Maintain account and opportunity updates within the internal sales force automation system.• Travelling onsite for customer visits.
Requirements:
• 5 + years’ experience in a pre-sales position supporting the sales cycle.•Strong presentation and communication skills. • Experience of administering Unix/Linux systems and a clear understanding of network security. • Experience with programming languages such as UNIX shell, Perl or C.• Previous Security experience in one or more of the following desired:
-SIEM (OSSIM, Arcsight, Q1Labs, etc)
-IPS (Sourcefire, ISS, McAfee, Cisco, Snort, etc)
-Anti-Virus
-Firewall
