Java Developer

To develop, make enhancements to and support the various systems in accordance with business priority. Development role working primarily on the Solas Mortgage Processing system. Development and rollout of a full roadmap of functional additions.

• Design, Development and testing of Java applications
• Creation of functional and technical specifications in line with business requirements
• Deliver technical solutions for mission critical systems primarily in Java on a J2EE platform
• Integration in a Jboss / Oracle DB environment
• Provision of support services in accordance with agreed SLAs
• Monitor and investigate systems issues
• Support releases in accordance with development life cycle
• Identify and proactively communicate problems and recommend solutions
• Co-ordinate with system administrators during implementations
