Internal Audit - Financial Services

I am looking for a newly Qualified Accountant to join the dynamic Internal Audit team within a prominent Bank in Dublin City.

This role will involve gaining an understanding of all aspects of the Bank’s operations, identifying any control weaknesses within that operating environment and drafting practical business focused reports to assist the business to implement mitigating actions.

What you will be doing:

- Completing detailed planning of individual assignments, this will involve gaining an understanding of the control environment and the associated business risks of the area under review.

- Assessing the design effectiveness of the control environment.

- Developing detail test plans to assess the operating effectiveness of the control environment.

- Carrying out the detail tests of the control environment.

- Discussing with the management the outcomes of the testing.

- Drafting and presenting reports on the results of the tests.

- Assisting with other Internal Reviews and Special Investigations.

- Collaborating with the team to continually improve both your and the team’s performance.

Who we are looking for:

- You will have at least 2 audit experience in Financial Services.

- You will be a newly qualified ACCA/ACA.
