Software Engineer - Java

A great opportunity for a junior level candidate with 1-3 years' experience to develop their skills and work in an internationally recognised company.

What you will be doing
* Design and implement server-side features in J2EE application platform.
* Develop familiarity with the existing application and code base
* Participate in technical design workshops
* Assume full development responsibility for developing, debugging and unit testing
* Assume roles on client delivery projects, technical support activities
* Work with our Professional Services teams to resolve open project issues
* Diagnose and solve functional and performance/scalability issues with product software.

Technologies:
J2EE, spring or Hibernate, EJB or JMS or Web Services, Oracle or DB2 (or other relational databases), SQL
Skills Needed:
" Demonstrate the ability to learn on the job, acquire new skills as required and put these to effective use.
" Debug code and to work with code written by others
" Provide quality estimates for assigned work and to produce quality deliverables according to schedule.
" Assess the impact of changes on existing development / code base.
" Excellent communication skills and the ability to communicate on several levels.
