Managing the social media team and the execution of all social media activities.
Content planning/ scheduling and management of social media content aligned to major sports events calendar
Working with the design team to conjure up the very best related image and video content
Work with the marketing and brand team to develop and launch unique and entertaining social campaigns with call-to-actions that drive target buyers to website(s)
Sourcing, managing and nurturing a group of external content providers and community influencers
Leveraging existing social media presence and engaging influencers to grow profile through delivery of unique and relevant content
Develop a social reporting system, constantly striving to optimize future activity
Championing social media by socialising the business and acting as the social expert and advocate internally to drive greater social uptake and input
Implementing Social Media SEO tactics aligned with keyword and SEO strategies.
Drive innovation and explore all new social media opportunities
Requirements of the Job:
Degree level qualified with a focus on Marketing or Journalism
3+ Years of Social Media Marketing experience in a corporate marketing or agency marketing role.
3+ Years of Social Media Marketing in a B2B capacity dealing with business people, professionals, decision makers, and industry thought leaders.
3+ Years of Social Media Marketing experience on all major social media platforms - Twitter, Facebook, Google+, YouTube.
Media buying & sports content editorial experience
Verifiable examples of social media marketing successes and wins.
Impeccable attention to detail.
Exceptional business writing skills and ability to visualize as well as convey a message into relevant and interesting content.
Expert level skills in using and navigating social media networks, native web apps, 3rd party social media tools and the "Internet” to run it all.
You are self motivated, hungry for a challenge and looking to make an immediate impact.
