Dev Ops Engineer

Role: Dev Ops Engineer
Location: Dublin
6month contract



Manage deployments to and configurations of pre-production environments.

Contribute to process improvements throughout the entire project cycle and release process, encouraging standardization, consistency, repeatability, and predictability.

Lead the team that manages the entire release process, working closely with QA, Program Management, Engineering and Technical Operations teams.

Drive detailed release plans and release procedures.

Assist QA and Development in problem solving and troubleshooting as necessary

Manage vendors and contractors for short and long term projects.

Systems-oriented scripting languages, such as BASH Shell, Perl, Java, Windows .bat

Solid Hands-on Solaris/AIX and Windows OS skills. Knowledge of IIS/Websphere/Iplanet/Tibco/MQ, n-tier applications, Moniroting tools, autosys

Comfortable in a mixed Windows/Unix environment.

Strong verbal and written communications skills as well as the ability to work in a team are critical.
