Junior IT Engineer

This position is junior role and will be involved in the operational support of multiple Active Directory and LDAP directory environments. You will focus on Active Directory operational work as well as responsibilities around terminations and password resets. Activities include customer support, daily operations, deployment of security solutions with the use of Group Policy Objects, troubleshooting issues, supporting cross-organizational efforts, updates and improvements to the infrastructures, monitoring, taking part in the on-call rotation and responding to critical situations.

Skills/Experience
- Solid experience administering Active Directory
. Experience with other LDAP directories (NetIQ, Oracle, OpenLDAP)
. Managing identity between infrastructures
. Requires experience with Windows Server 2008 Active Directory multi-Site environments
. Group Policy management
. Security within Active Directory
. Troubleshooting skills with multi-Site and multi domain environments
. Forest to Forest trust relationships
. Federation - ADFS
. Full understanding of Active Directory Replication
. FRS
. DNS
. Windows Time service
. An understanding of network topology
. LDAP knowledge
. Knowledge of Unix Authentication Services using AD
. Experience with RSA/SecurID Token Administration
. Programming/scripting experience preferred (PowerShell, Perl, Java)
. VMWare experience preferred
. Unix/Linux understanding desired
. Excellent customer service skills

Responsible for the daily operations in multiple areas of Active Directory as well as LDAP directories. Participation in the on-call rotation for 24/7 support of the infrastructures. Participation in team efforts and projects for Identity Management and Security initiatives.

Education Requirements
Bachelor's, Computer Science and/or Information Technology
Additional Skills: Coding/scripting experience with moderate to complex assignments using Perl, PowerShell and/or C++
