The Opportunity
We're looking for a Data Analyst for a leading investment bank. They have established a Data Analytics Laboratory based in Dublin. The Data Analytics portfolio contains several large programmes of work, focused on applying data analytics tools and techniques to solve business and data problems.
The Role
You will be part of the continued growth of this department. You will work on Data sourcing, discovery and analytics using ETL (Extract, Transform & Load) and Business Intelligence tools.
You will create models and reports providing interpretation and insight into business data. Your solution design skills will come to the fore as you utilise hands on analytics and applications of data science.
Who You'll Be
- Educated to degree level (or overseas equivalent)
- Proficient in use of ETL (Extract, Transform & Load) and Business Intelligence tools
- Able to demonstrate examples of previous successful BA deliveries and a track record in providing insight through the application of data analytics
- Able to create visualisation solutions for presentation to and use by senior managers
You will have
- Experience in data analytics and business analysis
- Experience working in Global teams
- The ability to identify issues and propose solutions
- The ability to prioritise key deliverables
- Experience working in a project/programme environment
- Preferably, experience in a financial domain (capital markets, transaction banking, wealth management)
