This multinational institution is one of the largest financial services groups worldwide and the technology projects they are working on at the moment are cutting edge and require someone with an innovative approach who likes working in a collaborative environment.
The type of person they are looking for is a talented Senior Business Systems Analyst with a strong track record in understanding the needs and requirements of an organisation and being able to prioritise each phase of the project. The successful candidate will be given the opportunity to work very closely with a team that is responsible for their global workflow product and will need to be able to work in a fast paced agile/scrum environment whilst making quick and educated decisions in order to produce value added results. Ideally the candidate will have treasure and finance domain knowledge and experience working closely with software and QA engineers as part of a cross functional agile team.
Responsibilities:
* Understanding and prioritising requirements
* Work closely within the Product Ownership team
* Leading story elaboration sessions with their business partners
* Work closely with both the scrum and product teams , determining the scope for each phase
* High quality user stories for both the business team and QA team to resolve issues affecting the delivery of a story/feature
* Working closely with business partners and tech teams to define, coordinate and execute UAT
* Represent the Ireland delivery team at all product owner meetings & workshops
Qualifications:
* Relevant business degree with an understanding of IT, or a relevant degree in IT
* 5+ years’ experience as a business/systems analyst
* Financial experience
* Agile
Requirements:
* Highly motivated with strong willingness to take ownership/responsibility for their work
* Work closely with both the business partners and technology teams
* Very strong interpersonal skills, verbal and written communication skill, analytical thinker, ability to see the big picture and focus on details, strong work ethic and fantastic customer service attitude
* Experience working with technology and business partners across multiple locations
