I am looking for an accountant / junior business analyst with good knowledge of products such as loans or overdrafts to join the reporting and financial management team of one of the leading financial institutions based in Dublin city centre.
The role is offered as a 12 month contract.
The role will involve:
• Preparation and review of key weekly and monthly reconciliations of loans• Escalation of reconciliation issues for management attention if required• Liaising with the financial reporting and commercial finance teams to prepare and administer adjustments • Ensuring the integrity of entries passed on the participating institution’s source systems• Assisting with the preparation of the quarterly report• Provision of information in response to requests from executive and business as required• Performance of user acceptance testing to support the implementation of data developments• Process improvement
The ideal candidate will be:
• Qualified or part qualified accountant • Familiar with products such as loans, current accounts\overdraft, etc.• Experienced in the performance of key reconciliations within a finance function• Able to work with large amounts of data efficiently and with a high degree of accuracy• Able to carry out multiple tasks within tight deadlines• A team player with strong interpersonal, analytical and communication skills• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly MS Excel & Word
