Senior Business Intelligence Engineer
Our clients works with the most innovative, scalable, industry leading investment tools and is looking for a candidate who has strong Informatica development experience to join their team.
If you are interested in this role you need to have strong knowledge of Informatica and RDBMS development (ideally Oracle), strong experience of designing and implementing consistent, reliable, maintainable and scalable solutions.
You will be working within a cross-functional agile (Scrum) delivery team in the Global Asset Allocation (GAA) division. Fidelity is undertaking a multi-year program to establish a comprehensive portfolio management (PM) platform to streamline the monitoring, rebalancing and trading of large investment funds in order to reduce risk and improve overall investment outcomes. The delivery team in Ireland leads the design, development, deployment and support of different components of this product (e.g. Trading, Modeling, etc.). It involves working with business partners and product owners to define requirements and plans.
Responsibilities:
• Design and implement consistent, reliable, maintainable and scalable Informatica based ETL solutions• working with with Database Engineers, DBAs and QA• Drive the adoption of Data Engineering/ETL processes and practices• Liaise with senior ETL/database engineering colleagues in global offices
Qualifications• Degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering or related discipline• In-depth Informatica experience• Previous experience in ETL development projects• Strong experience in RDBMS, preferably Oracle SQL & PL/SQL• Experience in developing using formal development methodologies (Agile experience a plus)![]()
