Title: Data Architect
Location: Dublin

Our client, a leader in the Software as a Service industry, is looking for a highly experienced Data Architect to join a new enterprise architecture team in Dublin. The right candidate needs to be able to have an end-to-end vision, on how a logical design will translate into multiple physical databases. They will need a strong understanding of Data Design, Data Migration, ETL, Security, Data Dictionaries, Business Intelligence and Data Warehousing.
The successful candidate will be in a big data environment and the candidate must have experience of working in environments of 50 - 100 TB in data size over a large database farm. As this is a newly formed team the candidate will help in establishing new processes and procedures around governance, documentation and support of the development organisation.
Requirements:
* 8+ years defining and maintaining conceptual, logical and physical data models, data standards, naming conventions and data flow diagrams.
* Experience with SQL Server.
* Successfully implemented Data Quality/Governance initiatives.
* Data Warehouse experience.
* Knowledge of Big Data solutions.
* Knowledge of Business Intelligence solutions.
* Previous experience in SaaS based systems is a distinct advantage.
