Fund Accountant

I am looking for a Fund Accountant to become part of a rapidly growing team in a new department within a Global Financial Services Provider based in Wexford.

This position is open to recent graduates of Accounting/Finance/ Business with at least 6 months Financial Services Experience.

This is initially a 6 month contract with immediate interviews for successful candidates.

The Fund Administrator position requires a responsible individual to process key specialised functions while ensuring compliance with all Firm and Corporate Trust policies and preferred practice.

Reporting to the Corporate Trust Supervisor, your day to day will look like this:

-Review daily activity database, research and prepare responses as applicable.
-Monitor receipt and disbursement of funds.
-Daily cash reconciliation.
-Authenticate and verify trade instructions.
-Prepare, execute and monitor settlement investments.
-Execute funds transfer from/to accounts.


Who we are looking for:

-You will have at least a 2:1 Accounting Degree or come from a Financial Services/Accounting background.
- At least 6 months experience in Financial services is essential to be considered for this role.
-You will have excellent attention to detail.
-You will have excellent Excel skills.
