Project Manager

My client, an expanding multinational electronics company in Cork have a great opportunity for a Project Manager. You will join an international environment where your skill set and experience will be recognized and rewarded. You will be challenged on a daily basis, taking responsibility for a number of key projects.


My client's design centre in Cork provides the strategic RF IC capability in this field and the centre is the focal point for Cellular RF IC design where the team is responsible for designing the hardware and software for state-of-the-art silicon products. They are in the process of growing the design team and have a fantastic opportunity for a Project Manager.

Tasks:

Prepare and maintain project charter
Proactive project execution
Minimise change request
Plan, steer and monitor activities of assigned projects and provide teh project management deliverables
Inform and co-ordinate deadlines and stages and gates, lead decision matrix
Assure quality and completeness of deliverables
Execute gate reviews
Requirements:

Qualified to MSc level in Electrical Engineering with at least 7 years engineering experience
Recent and relevant project management skills
Experience in system design, chip design or software design would be beneficial
Fluent in English, knowledge of German language would be useful
