Manage operational and support responsibilities for numerous critical services. You will be expected to support and troubleshoot existing systems, design some systems from the ground up, solve technical challenges, and enhance the reliability and performance for the services.
Skills/Experience
Environment is Windows and Linux. Definitely need some database expertise as you will be managing some large databases environments. Solid understanding of Linux and Windows server OS' fundamentals, NFS, CIFS, filesystems, Networking, Performance tuning, Scripting, Active Directory, are all fundamental to this job.
Looking for someone with a minimum of 5 years experience in a Corporate environment.
Responsibilities
Manage windows and linux servers, enterprise level applications, clusters, vm's, enterprise class hardware design's, databases. You will be expected to understand and build HA systems, do performance tuning, meet with customers to gather requirements, have timely and accurate communication with peers, management and customers, work well solo as well as part of a team. You will be expected to document your solutions and create metrics and reports for the services that you maintain. Scripting and a solid understanding the SW Development process is a must.
