My client is an expanding multinational electronics design company in Cork. They currently have a permanent requirement for an experienced Senior Digital Design Engineer
Position:
An opportunity to join a team focused on the design and development of mixed signal and RF devices for candidates with a strong background in digital design.
Tasks:
Design, Verilog RTL coding and verification of next generation wireless PHY ASICs
Requirements:
10+ years relevant experience with proven track record of delivering complex ASICs from functional specification to the final product
Hands on experience with specification, micro-architecture, design, Verilog RTL coding and verification
Proficient in the use of industry standard languages and flows for RTL coding, synthesis, functional verification, timing analysis and scripting
Expertise in hardware implementation of signal processing or communications algorithms
Team player with excellent oral and written communication skills
Desirable to have cross-functional experience interacting with software, verification and physical design teams
Familiarity with pre-silicon and post-silicon validation of ASIC designs
Desirable background knowledge: experience with UMTS, LTE and other wireless communication standards, communications and signal processing, Matlab or RF transceivers
Candidates should be degree educated in Electronics or Communications Engineering, Applied Physics or equivalent experience![]()
