The Opportunity
A leading financial institution who speciailises in providing asset servicing solutions and asset management to both institutional and private clients is looking to hire a financial analyst with a strong MI reporting background. You will work alongside a highly experienced manager in the Dublin finance team.
The Role
The role which is expected to be a 9 month contract role will assist in the production of management information, forecasting and other related financial analysis for the business. In addition, the individual will also support the tracking of special initiatives and projects.
- Support the production of business management reporting including:
* Production of monthly financials
* Variance analysis between actual, plan and forecast
* Monthly commentaries
* Key operational metrics
* Relevant client information and analysis
- Assist in the preparation of financial and management information to Senior Management
- Assist with the production of regular business forecasts
- Assist with the production of financials and other relevant data relating to special initiatives and projects
- Produce other ad-hoc management reporting and analysis as arises
Who You'll Be
- Qualified Accountant with financial services experience in a similar business facing / business partnering role
- Ability to partner effectively with peers, line managers, senior business managers and overseas partners
- Highly numerate with strong analytical and organisational skills and high attention to detail
- High standard of oral and written communication
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Ability to work effectively and independently to ensure critical deadlines are met
- Ability to identify and problem solve
- Flexible approach towards changing work methods and variable workloads
- Strong IT skills required, notably Excel to advanced level and Powerpoint
