Seeking a high calibre Accountant for a change role with a high profile internet multinational based in Dublin city centre. The position will initially be offered on a 11 month contract basis with a view to extension and permanency.
The Finance team is best in class and provide a value-add service as the transaction accounting is outsourced. This role sits in a technical and really smart team which handles all the new acquisition, merger and liquidation integration work.
This role will be to support the Global Process Manager for International Accounting. This involves technical analysis of changes arising from legislation, testing and adaptation of processes and automated solutions. You will also be involved in influencing and communicating with key suppliers and customers and ongoing attention to detail to ensure this high risk / high exposure area is controlled and audited from Dublin.
The Person:
- Qualified Accountant, Top 10 ACA preferred.
- Previous experience with US multi-nationals or a Big Four firm a plus.
- Solid understanding of local and US GAAP.
- Excellent technical accounting skills.
- Oracle 11i experience a plus.
- Project management and process improvement skills.
