Role: Java Developer

Harvey Nash is engaged in a exclusive project with a leading financial institute who are looking for Java Developers to join their growing team.
The role will involve the development, enhancement and support of a variety of systems within the Online Banking system, development and rollout of a full roadmap of functional additions and the development of website and mobile banking applications.
The day-to-day duties will include the design, development and unit-test of java applications, creation of functional and technical specifications, deliver technical solutions in Java on a J2EE platform, development of Java scripts, integration in an Apache/JBoss/Oracle DB/ Mysql DB environment.
The successful candidate will have a Third Level Qualification preferably in IT, experience of managing 3rd party applications related service providers and have 8+ years of Java experience in an IT environment. Financial services experience is desirable.
