Senior OBIEE Designer/ Developer

Opportunity for an OBIEE Developer is open in Dublin with leading financial services provider.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for translating business requirements provided by System Analysts into detailed technical deliverables.

This is a great combination of hands- on development responsibilites and building your leadership skills by providing coaching and daily direction/assistance to on-site as well as off-shore technical resources.

Main Responsibilities:
* Designing OBIEE technical designs & documentation
* Working alongside with Project Managers
* Leading performance evaluations and tuning activities
* Assisting and leading proof of concept evaluations
* Managing code migrations
* Assist the Quality Assurance group with the creation and executing of test cases

Requirements:
* Strong experience with OBIEE including Oracle BI Server, Answers, Interactive Dashboards
* Experience with Reporting and Analytics concepts and implementations
* Previous experience with RPD design, dashboard/report development, and OBIEE security
* Agile and Waterfall-based development methodologies

Skills and Knowledge
* Dimensional modelling knowledge and hands-on Oracle SQL and basic tuning experience required
* Strong experience with large team and multi-user project development strategies using OBIEE
* Experience and understanding of Exadata is a plus
* Interpersonal skills: work closely with various inter-related groups & team members
* Excellent communication skills, great attention to detail, and strong organizational skills
