Seeking a highly dynamic Financial Controller for a high growth organisation in North Dublin, reporting directly to the MD.
You will be responsible for operational finance, managing a range of strategic financial control and commecial aspects for Ireland. T his is a senior level role offering an outstanding package. Candidates at the 7-10 year PQE level are ideally sought.
The Role:
- Manage the Finance Team, providing billing, collections, accounts payable, management/statutory reporting, taxation services and cash management.
- Overseeing the production of monthly management accounts, ensuring that accurate planning, forecasting, reporting, accounting and control systems are in place across all regions and business lines.
- Overseeing the production and communication of KPIs, financial reporting information and supporting commentaries to the management team.
- Overseeing funding for long term business development and capital expenditure requirements. Hands-on Treasury management.
- Ensuring effective cost control processes are in place.
- Providing strong commercial influence in business case and investment decision making processes.
- Liaising with clients, suppliers, partners, auditors, banks and other key stakeholders.
- Ensuring legal, regulatory and tax compliance for each region in which the business operates.
The Person:
- Driven and ambitious Qualified Accountant ACA/ACCA.
- Significant post-qualification experience in a HIGH GROWTH environment.
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to challenge appropriately and get hands-on.
- Leadership ability, able to motivate and develop a team, setting targets, reviewing performance.
- Ability to maintain a focus on delivery and the end result.
- Experience in a medium sized dynamic/emerging/rapid growth company is essential.
