An expanding brand in the financial services space in Ireland has a requirement for an experienced Solution Architect to join their team and contribute significantly to the development of the Solutions Architecture Services within the organisation. This is a business that has undergone significant growth driven business and technology change and the role will have a large degree of influence on the architecture standards and frameworks. The successful person will be responsible for the definition and implementation of Application, Technology and Infrastructure Architectures and Roadmaps to meet the strategic needs of the business. This will be done through a customer centric approach to delivery with a focus on Agile methodology and aligned closely with the group policies concerning project and change management.
The role will require extensive experience in the solutions architecture space and will involve the management of external vendors as well as a large degree of influencing and coaching of internal teams. A strong mix of technical and business competencies as well as excellent communication skills will be required.

Formal third level qualification preferred
Comprehensive experience in Solutions Architecture
Experience in full project delivery
Experience in the definition and delivery of Application and Technical Architecture
Experience designing and delivering Architectural Strategies
Strong communicator and excellent influencing skills
Ability to engage effectively with both business and technology stakeholders
Financial Services experience is preferred but not required
